The "Mouse Ear" wing nuts are a style used on the early Morse Commercial elmets. This type is similar to the wing nuts used on Greek Sponge helmets made by most manufactures. Morse also supplied a flange washer to span the gaps in the brails like the flanged wing nuts on a Mark V helmet (Order separatly #M0249) Threading on the wing nut is 1/2"-12 NS.
